News to the Minute

Lindsay Lohan - as expected - was present at the premiere of her latest film, 'One Crazy Day', which is a sequel to the 2003 feature film 'One Crazy Day'.

This Thursday, July 31st, the 39-year-old actress surprised everyone with a look inspired precisely by her character, Anna Coleman. A lilac-hued, shimmery dress reminiscent of a look worn by Anna in the film that premiered in the early 2000s.

In 'Freaky Day', Anna performs with the band Pink Slip at her mother Tess Coleman's wedding, played by Jamie Lee Curtis, and wears a lilac dress with lace details.

This time, Lindsay Lohan's stylist, Andrew Mukamal, chose a modern version of the aforementioned dress worn by the character. It's a custom design by Ludovic de Saint Sernin. Instead of lace details, it features precious silver stones.

The dress was paired with a vintage Judith Leiber handbag, inspired by a red electric guitar used in the film's final scene. The actress's look was completed with a pair of diamond earrings and other jewelry, particularly her engagement ring.

When it came to makeup, Lindsay Lohan was more discreet and left her blonde hair loose.

People reports that this wasn't the first time the actress had been inspired by a character when dressing for an event. Earlier this week, Lindsay Lohan praised the wardrobe from her first film, 1998's "A Father to Me... A Mother to You."

On Monday, July 28, the actress appeared on 'Good Morning America' wearing a yellow-toned look reminiscent of the style of the character Annie James, who she played in 'A Mother to You... A Father to Me', and with a "touch of 'A Crazy Day'."

This two-piece yellow ensemble is from Balmain's Pre-Spring 2026 collection, designed by Olivier Rousteing. The look was completed with sunglasses, a yellow hair ribbon, and a black leather Hermés bag. Lindsay Lohan also wore Jessica McCormack earrings and yellow high heels.

Alongside her on 'Good Morning America' was fellow actress Jamie Lee Curtis, who plays her character's mother in the film 'A Crazy Day'.
