L iliana Filipa and Daniel Gregório, who became known to the public after participating in the TVI reality show 'Secret Story', were victims of an armed robbery during a family vacation in Vilamoura, Algarve, reports Jornal de Notícias.

The publication reveals that—according to a video it had access to—a motorcycle with two occupants stopped next to the car in which the couple and their children were traveling, on the driver's side. One of the assailants got off the motorcycle, pointing a gun at Daniel, who ended up handing over his watch .

The businesswoman got out of the car, but at the robbers' orders, she ended up getting back in. As soon as the robbery, which reportedly lasted 30 seconds, was over, the robbers fled. No one was injured, and no shots were fired, it is also reported.

After the incident, the GNR (National Republican Guard) was called to the scene to investigate the crime and conduct initial investigations. Since the robbers used a firearm, the Southern Directorate of the Southern Judicial Police was called in to investigate, the newspaper reports.

A dream vacation that turned into a nightmare

This has been a year of great achievements for Liliana and Daniel. On a personal level, the couple—who fell in love on the TVI reality show—got engaged during a romantic trip to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Furthermore, they are gradually seeing their dream of a new home take shape, as construction on the property, which resembles a mansion, has already begun.
