Gigi and Bella Hadid introduce half-sister (whom they met in 2023)

Gigi and Bella Hadid revealed that they have a half-sister, whose name is Aydan Nix and who is the daughter of Mohamed Hadid and Terri Hatfield Dull.

The information was shared with the Daily Mail on Thursday, May 29, through a statement, as cited by People.

The famous sisters said Aydan was born after Mohamed Hadid's "brief romance" with Terri - and after his father's divorce from their mother, Yolanda Hadid, in 2001.

Aydan is originally from Florida, where she was raised, and grew up with "the man she lovingly knew as her father until he died suddenly when she was 19."

After her death, Aydan took a genetic test "out of curiosity" and immediately realized his "biological connection" to Hadid's children. "We first reached out at the end of 2023 and have welcomed Aydan with open arms ever since."

"She spent time with us, including our father, and we are happy to see this growth in our beautiful family," they added in the statement.

"As siblings, we have had many open and loving conversations — including with Aydan — about how to support and protect her," they continued.

“Aydan and her family value their privacy, and we fully respect that. We kindly ask that others do the same and respect her wishes and right to anonymity as she continues her life as a young woman in New York City,” they added.
