A bucket of ice water! The many thousands they'll have to pay after losing their lawsuit

The lawsuit between the Rosado brothers of Anjos and Joana Marques came to an end today. The judges acquitted the comedian . The band was demanding €1,118,500 in compensation for alleged damages caused by the comedian's satire.

However, as the court found the action to be unfounded, Nelson and Sérgio Rosado will have to pay a significant amount.

The amount that the Angels will have to pay

According to the newspaper Expresso , Anjos will have to pay €31,000 in legal fees. This amount is higher than the band usually receives for a show, as, according to the same source, each performance earns around €20,000.

Attorney Paulo Saragoça da Matta explained to CNN that "the costs are based on the value of the lawsuit. Even if only €100,000 were awarded, the legal costs are calculated based on the remaining €1 million." Therefore, regardless of the final decision, the financial impact on the Rosado brothers could be significant.
