1990s muse, Regininha Poltergeist is seen at the end of her shift in a store

Regininha Poltergeist, a muse and beauty icon in the 1990s, lost all the money she earned at the height of her fame . Currently, the model and dancer works at an aromatherapy store in Barra da Tijuca, west of Rio de Janeiro, and was photographed on Thursday night, the 11th, at the end of her workday.
She was photographed closing her store inside a shopping mall and heading home. Since 2021, Regininha has faced even more severe financial difficulties.
A muse of the 1990s, she is a dancer trained at the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro and began to find success in beauty contests before appearing on the covers of the main men's magazines in the country, such as Playboy, Sexy and others.
In an interview with Terra, Regininha said that she had earned money and owned cars and five apartments, but spent everything she earned after leaving the artistic world to dedicate herself to caring for her son.

"I used all of this to raise my son. Things are expensive and I never had any help from his father, I always took care of everything myself. I went shopping, took him to school... Today he's 20 years old. At some point the money runs out, and that's what happened," she said.
She said her financial problems worsened in 2021 during the Covid-19 pandemic. At the time, with no resources, Regininha Poltergeist was evicted and had to live in a gas station for a few days.
In January of this year, Regininha was seen selling empanadas on a street in Méier, a neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro's northern zone. She also asked for financial help to buy appliances.
