Zoomarine distinguished as “Best Theme and Amusement Park” for the 8th time

Zoomarine has just been distinguished, for the eighth time, with the award for “Best Theme and Amusement Park”, at the Publituris Portugal Travel Awards 2025 ceremony, which took place on July 3rd at the Vila Galé Collection Elvas Hotel.

This award reinforces the national recognition of Zoomarine's proposal, which combines entertainment experiences with a mission to raise awareness about the conservation of the oceans, biodiversity and animal welfare.

“Receiving this award once again is, above all, a validation of our purpose and the daily commitment of the entire Zoomarine team. We continue to work to ensure that every visit to our park is a moment of discovery, fun and environmental awareness. This distinction belongs to all those who believe that it is possible to educate and entertain at the same time,” says Hugo Brites, Zoomarine’s Communication and Marketing Director.

In the category “Best Theme and Amusement Park”, Zoomarine competed for the award with other leading parks such as Dino Parque Lourinhã, Kidzania, Krazy World, Parque Aquático Amarante, Pena Aventura Park, World of Discoveries and Lisbon Zoo.

The Portugal Travel Awards, organized annually by the Publituris newspaper, are one of the most prestigious moments to celebrate national tourism, recognizing projects, companies and professionals that stand out for their contribution to the sector.

This year's edition, the 20th, had a total of 177 nominees, competing in 22 categories. The winners were chosen by voting among the 27 members of the invited jury, newspaper subscribers and subscribers to the daily newsletter .

Voting took place between May 26 and June 16.
