Wall Street starts in 'green'

New York opened the session trading in the green, with investors' expectations high regarding the possibility of another interest rate cut this month.
The Dow Jones index gains 0.29% to 46,385.68 points, the S&P500 increases 0.22% to 6,684.93 points and the Nasdaq rises 0.46% to 22,772.68 points.
Salesforce surged 6.85%, Nvidia rose 1.21%, P&G gained 0.73%, Amazon rose 0.77%, and Goldman Sachs added 0.46%. Countercyclically, Travelers lost 3.86%, Walmart fell 0.58%, Apple slipped 0.52%, Visa slipped 0.57%, and Walt Disney fell 0.38%.
Millennium Investment Banking market analyst Ramiro Loureiro states that " Wall Street is off to a strong start, with major indexes once again approaching all-time highs. The increased revenue growth projections presented by chip manufacturing giant TSMC are helping to lift the tech sector, demonstrating the momentum AI is bringing to the markets. In the corporate world, note the sharp rises from JB Hunt and Salesforce in response to earnings reports, which contrast with the more significant declines from HPE and Travelers."
In the oil market, Texas-based WTI rose 0.19%, setting the price per barrel at $58.38, and Brent advanced 0.15% to $62. Natural gas fell 0.03% to $3.015.
In the foreign exchange market, the euro appreciated 0.11% against the dollar, settling at 1.166 dollars.
