PSI closes the week in the 'red'

The Lisbon stock exchange closed the week with losses, falling 0.28% to 7,674.13 points.
Corticeira Amorim led the losses, falling 2.57% to €7.57, followed by Navigator, which fell 1.71% to €3.216. Altri lost 1.64% to €4.810, EDP fell 1.21% to €3.754, EDP Renováveis slipped 0.69% to €10.01, and CTT slipped 0.52% to €7.67.
In contrast, BCP rose 1.36% to 0.6722 euros, REN gained 0.63% to 3.180 euros and NOS increased 0.13% to 3.83 euros.
The main European markets ended the week in mixed territory, with the CAC40 being the only one to register slight gains, of 0.01%, to 7,822.67 points, while the IBEX35 fell 0.14% to 13,982.76 points.
Millennium Investment Banking market analyst Ramiro Loureiro states that " European stock markets mostly closed slightly lower. The technology sector was the hardest hit, pressured by the weak performance of semiconductor-related stocks. In Portugal, the PSI saw BCP appreciate more than 1% and saw REN and NOS rise, but this was ultimately hampered by the widespread correction. Abroad, Vestas Wind's surge was noteworthy, after the wind turbine manufacturer received a major order in the US."
In the oil market, Texas-based WTI gained 0.15%, setting the price per barrel at $67.64, and Brent advanced 0.03% to $68.53. Natural gas rose 1.27% to $3.587.
In the foreign exchange market, the euro appreciated 0.45% against the dollar, settling at 1.1645 dollars.
