Lisbon Stock Exchange hits 2010 highs on the back of EDP Renováveis and Galp

The Lisbon stock exchange closed higher today, with the PSI rising 0.86% to 8,115.02 points, touching the highs of April 2010, driven by gains from EDP Renováveis and Galp Energia.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the national reference index, ten closed in positive territory, three unchanged (Teixeira Duarte, REN and Ibersol) and the remaining three in the 'red'.
Lisbon followed the sentiment experienced in most other European markets, with the Spanish IBEX-35 rising 0.57%, the British FTSE 100 adding 0.67% and the French CAC-40 appreciating 0.41%.
In contrast, the German DAX lost 0.18%
