INSS: retirees begin receiving July payments this week; see calendar

INSS retirees and pensioners will begin receiving payments for the month of July starting next Friday, the 25th. The entity organizes payments in batches, according to the final benefit number and monthly income.

Beneficiaries earning up to the minimum wage and with a final digit between 1 and 5 will receive payments in the last 5 business days of the month. Those earning a final digit between 6 and 9, and those ending in 0, will receive payments, along with those receiving benefits above the minimum wage, in the first 5 business days of the following month.

To find the final benefit amount, ignore the last digit of the check digit. For example, if the benefit ends in 123-4, the benefit will end in 3. Citizens can see the final benefit amount on their award letter, payment statement, or by calling 135, which is available Monday through Saturday, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Once you know the final benefit amount, simply check the calendar to find out the payment date, depending on your income bracket ( https://www.gov.br/inss/pt-br/assuntos/sai-o-calendario-de-pagamentos-de-2024 ). It's important to note that payments are only made on business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.
