CTT App Breaks Record — 150 Million in Savings Certificates

Subscriptions to savings certificates through the CTT mobile app, which began offering this functionality in July 2024, exceeded 150 million euros this Thursday, the company announced in a statement.

For CTT — Correios de Portugal, one of the entities authorized by the State to issue these public debt products, this milestone demonstrates " the increasingly significant adoption by Portuguese people of this savings solution that can be subscribed to via mobile phone."

September was the second-best month ever for the mobile app , with subscriptions exceeding €680,000 per day and totaling almost €15 million , according to the same note. 220 subscription requests were registered per day, an increase of more than 20% compared to the requests registered in August.
