INE publishes industrial production pricesThe National Statistics Institute (INE) will release its industrial production figures for June this Thursday. The industrial production index increased 2.6% in May, year-on-year, after also falling by around 2% in April. The growth was primarily due to the energy group, which contributed most to the overall index's change (2.7 percentage points), growing 18%.
How did inflation evolve in the Eurozone?Eurostat will release inflation data for the Eurozone and the European Union for June . In May, the Eurozone's annual inflation rate slowed to 1.9%, down from 2.2% in April and compared to 2.6% a year ago. In the European Union, the annual inflation rate fell to 2.2% in May, compared to 2.4% in April and 2.7% in the same month last year.
