Three RTP productions nominated for the Europa media awards

In the audio music category, the first episode of Antena 3's podcast about Rui Reininho's 70th birthday ('Temporarily Alone Man'), by Luís Oliveira and Raquel Morão Lopes, and the documentary 'X-Ray of the Man with a Thousand Fingers', by Miguel Soares, about Carlos Paredes, are nominated.

In the video fiction category, the first episode of the series 'O Americano', by Ivo M. Ferreira, is nominated, about the Cavaco brothers and "a group of criminals spreading terror across the Algarve, with more than twenty bank robberies".

The winners will be announced in October in Berlin.

The Europa Awards were created in 1987 by the European Parliament, the European Commission and the European Cultural Foundation, and are today "the most influential pan-European broadcasting festival", with a view to stimulating "broadcasting quality across a changing continent".
