The assembly of the Farroupilha Camp pickets begins this Saturday

The setup for Acampamento Farroupilha 2025 will begin this Saturday morning, the 9th, with the arrival of the first pickets at Harmonia Park. This year, 236 pickets will make up the event's structure. Initially, entry will be permitted to pickets located in odd-numbered lots; those in even-numbered lots will be able to access the park starting August 16th.
The 43rd edition of the camp has as its cultural theme "Short waves for a long history - The centenary of Darcy Fagundes and the 70 years of the Grande Rodeio Coringa", in homage to the radio broadcaster, declaimer and communicator from Rio Grande do Sul.
The assembly must be completed by August 30th, the date on which the Fire Department is scheduled to inspect and approve the Fire Prevention Plan (PPCI). The Crioula Flame is scheduled to be lit at the camp on September 7th, and will remain manned until the end of the event on September 21st. The Farroupilha Camp will run from September 1st to 21st.
Schedule
Throughout the gaucho event, which has free admission, the public will be able to enjoy more than 120 cultural attractions, including chula, trova, dance, instrumental music, recitations, pajadas, and much more. The shows will take place daily, from 4 p.m. to midnight, on two stages.
The program also includes two stage and musical performances—Romance da Tafona - From Passion to Liberation—more than 50 commercial operations, the Crafts Fair, the Family Farming Fair, and the School Ciranda, which is expected to attract more than 15,000 children. A competitive musical performance show aimed at children and young people is also planned.
More than 5,000 professionals will be involved in organizing and structuring the event, which will occupy an area of 100,000 square meters within the park.
The Farroupilha Camp 2025 is promoted by the Porto Alegre City Hall and the Municipal Department of Culture, through the Farroupilha Festivities Commission, in partnership with the company GAM3, concessionaire of Parque Harmonia.
