The 6th edition of Vakinha Pet will take place at Parque Marinha, in Porto Alegre

The 6th edition of Vakinha Pet has a set date. The event, which has already become part of the Porto Alegre animal rights calendar, will take place on May 10th at the Parque Marinha do Brasil dog park. Free and open to the public, the event will take place from 2pm to 6pm, with attractions for pets, their owners and animal lovers.

The Vakinha initiative, the largest online donation website in Latin America, was created with the goal of promoting solidarity. In each edition, a different NGO receives 100% of the funds raised through the sale of products and services offered. This year, the destination will be the NGO Salva Latas.

"We are very dedicated to this event and, therefore, we are happy and grateful for the public's support. In the last five editions, we have raised more than R$120,000 in donations for four entities linked to the cause. There were more than 30,000 donors", celebrates Luiz Felipe Gheller, founder and CEO of the company.

There will be more than 15 activities for the whole family, such as painting a customized pet paw on a board, pet caricatures, an agility circuit, food and drink areas and inflatable toys for children. The main attraction will be the traditional pet parade, which will have the theme "professions".

Those interested in registering their pets in the parade only need to be very creative and access the website www.vakinha.com.br/eventos to register. The first three places will be awarded with products from the brands GoldeN - a PremieRpet brand, Cobasi Cuida and Vetnil - which are the official sponsors of Vakinha Pet 2025.
