Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Were Spotted ‘Trading Quick Kisses’ at His Steakhouse’s Soft Opening

Taylor Swift didn’t attend Travis Kelce’s NFL opener in Brazil on Friday, but she did make a quiet move to support her partner last night. TMZ reports that the singer attended the soft opening of his restaurant, 1587 Prime Steakhouse, in Kansas City, Missouri. Kelce and his teammate Patrick Mahomes are co-owners.

Photos haven’t surfaced of Swift there yet, but sources told TMZ that she and Kelce were affectionate during the event. They arrived holding hands at 6:15 P.M., Swift wearing a blue denim minidress. The couple spent their time in a “semi-private corner booth” and chatted with family and friends.

Sources said that Kelce and Swift “acted like any normal couple—laughing with his teammates, trading quick kisses, and flashing smiles across the room whenever they drifted apart.” They talked with guests for two-and-a-half hours, then spent the rest of the evening in a back area.

News of the outing comes hours after a source told People that Swift and Kelce have decided against having a big, public wedding.

“[They] want to keep it more private,” the insider said, explaining, “It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle. They both have a close circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy.”

Swift is loving her engaged era though and her old mine-cut diamond ring that Kelce gave her, which she is “still showing off,” the source said. “She’s incredibly happy. It’s all just perfect.”

On August 31, a source told People that they are not rushing to have a wedding. “They are not in the wedding planning phase yet,” the insider said, adding, “Right now they just want to enjoy being engaged and they are going to take their time with it. It has been a relief not having to keep it a secret anymore, and they are glad it is out in the open.”
