More than 1.2 million users vaccinated against the flu

More than 1.2 million flu shots have been administered since the seasonal vaccination campaign began, while 716,000 people have been vaccinated against Covid-19, according to official data released Tuesday.
Of the total number of Covid-19 vaccines, 367,006 were administered in pharmacies and 349,258 in National Health Service establishments.
In the flu vaccination, 616,694 doses were administered in pharmacies and 592,429 in National Health Service establishments.
According to figures from the Directorate-General for Health, since the campaign began on September 23, more than 50% of people aged 85 and over have been vaccinated against the flu, an age group that benefits from free vaccination with the high-dose flu vaccine. In the case of COVID-19, vaccination coverage in this age group is 35.95%.
