Madonna celebrates her 67th birthday in Tuscany

Pop diva Madonna chose the picturesque region of Tuscany, Italy, to celebrate her 67th birthday, celebrated this Saturday (16).

The singer was seen during the morning in Florence, where she visited tourist attractions and went shopping, always under escort and accompanied by some friends.

In the afternoon, Madonna went to Siena to watch the Palio, a traditional horse race that takes place every year in Piazza del Campo, in the heart of the city's historic center.

Always accompanied by her friends, the star had a place of honor to watch the race from the Palazzo d'Elci, whose windows overlook the square. Madonna wore a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, a light summer shirt, and a bag slung over her shoulder.

The Palio di Siena has been held since the Middle Ages, always on two dates: July 2 and August 16. The races are dedicated to the Virgin Mary, or "Madonna" in Italian. .
