The Americans Linkin Park will perform on June 21, 2026 in Portugal, at the Rock in Rio Lisboa festival, in Parque Tejo, being the first headliner revealed for the next edition, the organization announced today.
This will be the band's return to Portugal, with a renewed line-up, with the addition of drummer Colin Brittain and vocalist Emily Armstrong.
The 11th edition of Rock in Rio Lisbon is scheduled for the 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th of June 2026 at Parque Tejo, an open-air venue next to the Tagus River and close to Parque das Nações, in the eastern part of the capital. According to the organizers, tickets will be on sale from the 6th of June.
Linkin Park took a break in 2017, after the death of Chester Bennington, one of the band's vocalists, and officially returned in 2024 with the release of “Papercuts”, a collection of career hits.
At the end of 2024, they released the album “From Zero”, which supports their current international tour, their first in seven years.
