'Rupture' Leads Emmy Nominations; Wagner Moura Misses Out

The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced this Tuesday (15) the list of nominees for the 2025 Emmy Awards, the main award ceremony in American television.
The standout series was "Rupture," which will compete in 27 categories. The podium of the most nominated productions for the event, scheduled for September 14th in Los Angeles, was completed by "Penguin," with 24, and "The White Lotus" and "The Studio," both with 23.
Actress and filmmaker Kathy Bates, 77, became the oldest performer to be nominated for best actress in a drama for her work in "Matlock," while Owen Cooper, 15, became the youngest nominee for best actor in a limited series for his role in "Teenager."
The legendary Harrison Ford, 83, has secured an Emmy nomination for the first time in his career. He will compete in the category of best supporting actor in a comedy series for his performance in "Falando a Real."
Brazilian Wagner Moura, in turn, was left out of the list of nominees in the race for best supporting actor in a limited series.
