Vivo is the most sustainable Brazilian company, according to S&P Global ranking
Vivo is the most sustainable Brazilian company, among all sectors evaluated, according to the S&P Global ranking, a reference for the Dow Jones Best-In-Class Index (DJBICI), considered the main sustainability index in the world.
Vivo's constant progress in the ESG agenda was supported by the strengthening of governance and long-term commitments, which earned the operator the 6th position worldwide among the most sustainable companies in its sector, according to the S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2025.
In the list, Vivo is the only company in the sector in the Americas to appear in the DJBICI global portfolio.
The company's actions on the climate agenda also led it to appear, for the fourth consecutive time, on the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) A-List, an international assessment used as a reference in building a sustainable economy and a carbon-neutral future.
Currently, more than 24,800 companies, distributed across 134 countries, report their environmental data to the CDP.
“At Vivo, we believe that there is no future without sustainability, which is why it is a fundamental pillar of our business. This recognition is the result of our strategy and drives us to continue growing with an increasingly positive impact on society and nature,” says the company’s Sustainability Director, Joanes Ribas.
