The world's best animated cinema comes to Coimbra with the CINANIMA at Universities program, which, in its 11th edition, is showing, throughout the month of October, a total of 28 short films in three film programs aimed primarily at university audiences from 19 academic partners.
In its extension to the University of Coimbra, the exhibitions take place today, but also on October 22nd and 29th, at 6:30 pm, in the chapel of the Department of Architecture (DARQ).
Today is the day of program 1 - CINANIMA 2024 award winners, with the screening of seven short films: “A Crab in the Pool” - a Canadian short film that won twice, with the Best Screenplay Award and the Special Jury Prize, by Alexandra Myotte and Jean-Sébastien Hamel -, “Pelas Costuras” - Young Filmmaker Award, directed by Adriana Andrade, Luana Rodrigues and Daniela Tietzen - and “I died in Irpin” - Best Animated Documentary Award, directed by Anastasiia Falileieva - are three of the highlights.
