PJ searches Boavista Stadium on suspicion of economic crimes

The Judicial Police are carrying out searches this Tuesday morning at the Boavista Stadium.
The issue will be suspicions of economic crimes, such as money laundering.
The operation also includes searches of the homes of executives, law offices and accountants linked to Boavista.
It should be noted that the operation takes place just a few days after the club filed for insolvency.
Boavista was relegated to the II Liga, but the Portuguese Football Federation did not accept their registration, either in that league or in the lower leagues, as they did not meet the financial requirements.
