Businessman and president of the Iberfar group , founded one hundred years ago, Pedro Ferraz da Costa continues to lead the company along the path of innovation, having in recent years invested significantly in the production of medicinal cannabis in Portugal.

In 2024 , FAI Therapeutics became the first 100% Portuguese company to launch an oral CBD solution , from seed to patient, specially formulated for medicinal purposes and approved by Infarmed .

In addition to investing in research and development of new products, the group has sought to expand its operations, reinforcing production capacity and exploring new therapeutic applications of medicinal cannabis.
