Local elections. António José Brito is running again for the Castro Verde City Council

António José Brito is 54 years old and was a journalist between 1992 and 2013, assuming the presidency of the Castro Verde City Council since 2017.

“With ample evidence given in the local government work, this candidacy led by António José Brito wants to continue a humanist and plural project, with courage and determination, which puts Castro Verde and all Castro residents first”, it can be read.

According to the socialists, this candidacy “ will continue to value all people and the entire municipality ”, betting “on the local government experience of its elected representatives and, as always, on the energy and creativity of the younger generations”.

In the 2021 local elections, the PS won the elections in Castro Verde with 58.43% of the votes , achieving three mandates, followed by the CDU which obtained 35.70% of the votes, with two mandates.

The local elections are scheduled to take place between September 22 and October 14.
