Lagoa seeks volunteers for the European Cross Country Championships

The European Cross Country Championships arrive in Lagoa on December 13th and 14th this year and the organization is looking for volunteers to help welcome the best European athletes in this category.

This will be one of the largest sporting events ever held in the municipality and a unique opportunity for the community to actively participate in the history of European athletics.

Volunteers will play an essential role in several areas, from logistical support, technical support, administration, to direct contact with athletes and the public.

Registration is now open and can be done online by filling out a form, available here .

Participation is free and open to anyone aged 16 and over, with minors requiring parental permission.

All volunteers receive a welcome kit, including a backpack, sports equipment and various gifts.

"We need everyone to make this European Championship a memorable event. It's an opportunity to experience sport up close and be part of this great celebration in Lagoa," notes the Lagoa City Council .
