Eurozone goes further this year, only to slow down soon after

The Eurozone economy may have a better chance of taking off this year, mainly due to its first-quarter performance and the anticipation of imports by the US prior to new tariffs. The knock-on effect of conditions—in a scenario without further contractions and with modest growth at the end of the year—is now allowing it to go further than expected at the beginning of the summer. Even so, eurozone GDP will continue to grow at a very low pace, with little momentum to get through 2026 .
