100cznia is a popular party place in Gdańsk, which is popular with locals and tourists. It was established in 2017 on the grounds of the old Gdańsk Shipyard. From the beginning of May to the end of September it operates in full, and in the winter season the fun moves to the roofed and heated spaces of the 100cznia Inside halls.

Angel drinks in Gdansk. What's it about?

Guests who enter the restroom here may notice a message regarding Angel Drink. It is not about ordering an alcoholic beverage or mocktail, but about calling for help from customers who feel harassed or threatened in some other way.

"If you feel that someone is being unpleasant, aggressive, intrusive towards you or you have concerns about your safety - go to any of our bars and order an ANGEL drink. Our team will take care of you in a discreet way and provide you with space, protection or help you organize transport home," we read in the message.

"Our team is trained in such situations, both in first aid and in emergency situations," Alicja Jabłonowska from 100czni told the trojmiasto.pl portal in 20022. "We have been doing this since June of this year. There is information about this slogan in the ladies' toilets. However, we do not want to reveal too much about it, because the effectiveness of this procedure obviously depends on discretion," the representative of the venue emphasized.

Club Safety Code

This is not a completely new initiative. The idea was born in the US. The most common codes are: a pure angel shot - a suggestion for the bartender to ask security to accompany the woman to her car, an angel shot with ice - a request to call a taxi, and an angel shot with lime - means to immediately call the police.

A few years ago, cards with information about such a code appeared in women's toilets in one of the bars in Wrocław. Thanks to this, customers can feel safer, and the staff will react in the event of a threat.
