Pasta and that's it! On October 25, 2025, we celebrate World Pasta Day.

Although pasta is present in almost every cuisine in the world, it is particularly associated with Italy. It is estimated that over 300 varieties exist in Italian cuisine. These types are distinguished not only by their shape or production method, but also by their intended use in specific dishes.
Perhaps the most recognizable type of pasta is long strands of spaghetti. Made from durum wheat , this pasta is perfect for tomato sauces, creamy carbonara sauce, or cacio e peppe (with cheese and pepper). It's the long strands of spaghetti that make it easy to spread the sauce evenly, allowing you to enjoy a fully balanced dish with every bite.

Its long, flat ribbons pair perfectly with slightly heavier meat-based sauces, such as ragù Bolognese or mushrooms. It's also often paired with cream sauces containing chicken.

Cannelloni, on the other hand, is perfect for casseroles. This Italian pasta, tubular in appearance and approximately 3 cm in diameter, can be successfully stuffed with minced meat and baked with a sauce and béchamel sauce. This dish can be an interesting alternative to the classic and well-known lasagna, which is based on long sheets of pasta.
October 25th is World Pasta Day. This holiday was established in 1995 by 40 pasta producers from around the world during the World Pasta Congress in Rome.
