The competition in the Italian capital lasts from May 6 to 18, and the title was defended by Iga Świątek, who has already triumphed at the Foro Italico three times in total (2021, 2022, 2024). Last year, she defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final 6:2, 6:3. In this edition, she lost to Danielle Collins in the third round.
