Football. Kotwica lost an important match

In the duel between two teams directly competing for survival, the Kołobrzeg pirates, despite having an optical advantage, conceded three goals after quick attacks, and deservedly lost to the hosts.

The newcomer from the seaside quickly lost a goal, because after a long pass and a misunderstanding between Kozioł and Cucos, Kobusiński put the ball into an empty net in the 20th minute, and the Kołobrzeg goalkeeper redeemed himself with another action, defending a header from a few meters by Piotr Żemła. Fifteen minutes later, Ramos shot dangerously from the penalty area, but Artur Haluch cleared the ball for a corner. In the added time of the first half, after a cross from a corner kick to the so-called short post, Piroch increased the score with a header.
Shortly after the break, the Opole team could have increased the score, but Kobusiński's first-time shot from the penalty area hit the crossbar. In response, Cywiński's header bounced off the post, but Kozłowski's follow-up was accurate and Kotwica scored a goal, and five minutes later Kort could have equalized, but from 12 meters he shot just wide of the post. At that moment, it seemed that the equalization was only a matter of time... In the 68th minute, Kozioł defended Piroch's shot, and under the second goal, Faworow was blocked in a convenient position by Szrek, a former second-league player of Błękitni Stargard. A moment later, after a counterattack, Muratović, who had just been introduced onto the pitch, scored the third goal. After a few minutes and another quick attack by the locals, Cucos unnecessarily fouled Szkliński, and the substitute Muratović from the eleven scored his second goal. In added time, Pérez was fouled in front of the Opole penalty area and a moment later the Salvadoran took justice into his own hands by placing the ball into the net from a free kick, which determined the final result.
- We lost deservedly, because we made too many simple mistakes - said Kotwica coach Piotr Tworek. - At the beginning of the second half there was a chance to turn the match around, and after scoring the goal we still had a lot of time, but another mistake and a third goal, and then a penalty, took away our hope and now we have the most important match for everything with Pogoń Siedlce ahead of us... ©℗ (mij)
