Extra time and an incredible goal. We know the next semi-finalist of the Polish Cup

Pogoń coach Robert Kolendowicz convinced before the quarter-final that it would be a match between teams focused on defense. "One goal could decide this match," he said before the match with Piast.
And indeed, there were few and far between scoring opportunities. Pogoń in particular looked unusual at home, giving the initiative to the visitors for long periods of time. It was Piast who had the first great opportunity to take the lead, but after Jakub Czerwiński's header from close range, Valentin Cojocaru managed to parry the ball.
The hosts responded only in the injury time of the first half, but Efthymis Koulouris failed to beat Karol Szymański.

The second half was equally conservative, although in added time Piast had two counterattacks from which they should have scored. They squandered both.
Everything was decided in extra time, which – especially the second part – was played brilliantly by the hosts.
First of all, they no longer allowed their opponents to make offensive plays, and they themselves carried out two plays that could be described as "world stadiums". First, in the 108th minute, the Swede Linus Wahlqvist played from outside the penalty area into the front of the visitors' goal, and Koulouris scored with a backheel from the air to beat Szymański.
Then the "Portowcy" defended wisely, and in added time they carried out an action that definitely closed the quarter-final competition. Kamil Grosicki, with a raid on the right wing, first put Miguel Munoz down, and then with a shot from a sharp angle he hit the crossbar into the rivals' net.
