President Karol Nawrocki's addiction. He revealed who got him hooked.

- President Karol Nawrocki publicly announced in September that he had withdrawn his son from voluntary health education classes.
- "My son suggested it himself. He didn't want to participate in health education," the president explained in an interview with Radio ZET.
- When asked about his nicotine use, the president admitted that he had never smoked before.
- - Thanks to my colleagues from the services, I got used to these bags two years ago or more, added Nawrocki.
In an interview with Radio ZET, President Karol Nawrocki, when asked if his son had any complaints about being excluded from the health education subject, replied that it was his son's own suggestion .
"We're also trying to educate our son about health education. And the things that are good in this field," Nawrocki said.
He explained that the specific nature of lawmaking by the current parliamentary majority is such that "good solutions are often seasoned with a certain ideological shape or flavor."
"If we want to talk about lowering electricity prices, we'll throw in wind turbines. If we want to talk about health education, then alongside the important topics of personal hygiene, healthy eating, sports, and exercise, we'll throw in a discussion about sexuality in a form that worries many parents and that even raises gender stereotypes and other such issues," the president explained.
When asked if at some point you should talk to children about sex, he explained that yes.
"We should talk. We certainly talk at home. But I'm not convinced that we should talk to children at school about certain phenomena that, on the one hand, are marginal, and on the other, are positioned by the community represented by Minister Nowacka as a problem that we absolutely must solve in our society," said Nawrocki.
"I'm talking about the positioning of certain discussions about sexual minorities, precisely this reference to gender stereotypes, i.e., subliminal suggestions to children. I think that's why parents have abandoned health education, because there's a certain scope, a certain margin of action, which is supposed to be nothing more than the positioning of a radical, leftist worldview. I wouldn't want that for my child, for example," he added.
The President also commented on the words of the Minister of Education, Barbara Nowacka, who publicly criticized the information about Karol Nawrocki's son being withdrawn from health education.
- I hope that now the minister will respond with the same care to the words of my rival in the presidential elections, Rafał Trzaskowski, who also withdrew his children - from what I know - from health education - replied Nawrocki.
"I think the minister should not be shocked by my words about education, my family decisions regarding health education, but she should be shocked by how many parents have abandoned the program that seemed to be the minister's flagship ," he added.
President Nawrocki's nicotine pouchesWhen asked if he was trying to quit nicotine, he denied it.
" No, I'm not trying to quit nicotine, and when I start quitting, I will, because I have a very strong will . But I don't recommend using nicotine to anyone. It's better to live without it," Nawrocki said.
- To the best of my knowledge, Mr. Editor, snus and nicotine pouch are one and the same - he added.
When the interviewer, Bogdan Rymanowski, pointed out that these weren't the same thing, that snus contained tobacco, he replied, "I'm no expert. But in any case, it's legal, widely available at gas stations, in many stores, and in various chains."
"I've never smoked. Thanks to my colleagues in the service, two or more years ago, I got used to these pouches . It doesn't really give you a kick, it's a way of supplementing nicotine deficiency. I'll quit someday and I recommend it to everyone who uses it," Nawrocki explained.
"It's funny that a nicotine pouch generates so much interest, while at the UN forum, in many places, many people, many delegates, smoke cigarettes and cigars. However, a nicotine pouch generates so much interest, but probably only in Poland. It's ridiculous," the president added.
