US launches investigation into China's compliance with 2020 trade deal
The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) announced Friday, October 24, that it has initiated a new customs investigation into China's "apparent failure" to comply with the Phase One trade deal, which was signed in 2020 during U.S. President Donald Trump's first term and aimed to end the trade war between the two countries.
