Russia's War with Ukraine. Day 1256

On the night of August 1-2, Ukrainians carried out a series of drone attacks on industrial facilities in several regions of Russia, including the Ryazan, Penza, and Samara regions. In Ryazan and Samara, oil refineries were targeted and set on fire; in Penza, the Elektropribor plant was likely hit. Attacks were also confirmed in the Lipetsk and Voronezh regions.

The strikes came a day after a massive Russian missile attack on Kiev that killed at least 31 people.
