This Photo Will Be in Textbooks: Pole Prepares for Space Flight

The final stretch separates Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski before his flight into space. The astronaut boasted on the web a photo in a spacesuit.
The launch of the Axiom-4 (Ax-4) mission organized by Axiom Space , within which four astronauts, including Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski , will travel to the International Space Station , is getting closer.
In addition to the Pole, the Dragon capsule will be accompanied by the mission commander Peggy Whitson ( USA ), Shubhanshu Shukla ( India ) and Tibor Kapu ( Hungary ).
During the 14-day mission, the crew will conduct a number of tests in microgravity conditions, which will concern, among others: astronauts' health , modern materials and technologies , and the use of artificial intelligence in space .

Additionally, as part of the Polish technological and scientific mission IGNIS, special educational projects will also be implemented.

When will Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski fly into space?What's next? The spaceflight is scheduled for June 8 at 3:11 p.m. Polish time . At the moment, the crew is undergoing a two-week quarantine and final tests to check the astronauts' health before the flight.
Recall that preparations for the mission have been ongoing since August last year and included many other training sessions around the world: at NASA ( Houston ), SpaceX ( California ), Germany and Japan .
As Axiom Space emphasizes, this will be the first mission to the International Space Station with Poland's participation. In one of the interviews, Uznański-Wiśniewski admitted that the mission is a great chance for our country to enter the space market.
