PERFUME OF THE WEEK: Dior presents a floral collection for connoisseurs - Les Récoltes Majeures

Dior proves once again that perfume is not just a scent, but also an art. The new Les Récoltes Majeures collection is a tribute to nature, craftsmanship and the brand's heritage. Three exceptional compositions - Muguet, Rose and Jasmin - transport us to a world of sensual experiences and aesthetic ecstasies.

Les Récoltes Majeures is Dior's latest offering, debuting in May 2025. The collection consists of three fragrances inspired by flowers grown on the La Colle Noire estate in Grasse : lily of the valley, rose and jasmine. Each one captures the essence of these plants, combining traditional extraction techniques with modern technologies.

Francis Kurkdjian , Dior's fragrance creative director, emphasizes:

- I wanted to sculpt scents according to the characteristics of each of the three flowers, combining contemporary technologies with traditional extraction techniques derived from the crafts of Grasse.

Les Récoltes Majeures is housed in bottles inspired by the amphora designed by Christian Dior in 1956 for the Diorissimo fragrance . Each bottle is topped with a stopper decorated with flowers by the Parisian embroidery house Maison Vermont. These intricate decorations are created using flat embroidery techniques transformed into three-dimensional forms.

For the lily of the valley, white satin bells formed using the boulage technique and decorated with gold beads were used. The rose combines fabric petals with an embroidered center and pink tulle leaves with brass edges. The jasmine consists of gold fabric with a layer of traditional embroidery made of twisted brass thread, with a central gold ball on a brass stem.

The first fragrance in the collection, Muguet, was launched in May. It is an interpretation of lily of the valley, a symbol of happiness and rebirth. In June, it will be joined by Rose, paying homage to the queen of flowers – the rose. In September, Jasmin will debut, inspired by sensual jasmine. Each of these fragrances will be available in a limited edition of 200 pieces, each with a capacity of 125 ml. The price has not yet been disclosed.
