Starting this year, the group of people eligible for this financial support has been expanded. On September 2nd, those eligible for the support benefit will receive their transfer. In 2025, the amount will range from PLN 751.56 to PLN 4,133.60 per month.
- According to the ZUS schedule, the next payment of the support benefit is due on September 2nd
- The support benefit may amount to a maximum of PLN 4,133.60 and a minimum of PLN 751.56
- It is available to people with disabilities and depends on the specific level of support needed.
Transfers of the support benefit are made by ZUS on fixed dates each month, i.e.: 2, 4, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20 or 22 of the month.
It is worth adding that after indexation from 1 March 2025, the social pension amounts to PLN 1,878.91 , and consequently the support benefit ranges from PLN 751.56 to a maximum of PLN 4,133.60 .
In 2024, the benefit could only be granted to those who had a decision specifying the level of support from 87 points to 100 points. However, from 2025, it can also be paid when the need for support was determined at a level of 78-86 points.
At levels of 78 and 79 points, the payment is 60 percent of the social pension - i.e. from March 1, it is PLN 1,126 per month.
With a need for support at the level of 85 and 86 points, we are talking about 120% of the social pension, i.e. from March 1 it is PLN 2,253.6 per month .
Schedule for the introduction of the support benefit:
- Stage I - from 1 January 2024 - support benefit available to people with disabilities with the highest levels of support need, i.e. from 87 to 100 points
- Stage II - from 1 January 2025 - support benefit also available to people with disabilities with subsequent levels of support need, i.e. from 78 to 86 points
- III - the last stage - from 1 January 2026 - the support benefit will also be available to people with disabilities with other eligible levels of support need, i.e. from 70 to 77 points .
The support benefit ranges from 40 to 220 percent of the current social pension. Depending on the level of support needed, it will be:
- 95-100 points - 220 percent of the social pension;
- 90-94 points - 180 percent of the pension;
- 85-89 points - 120 percent of the pension;
- 80-84 points - 80 percent of the pension;
- 75-79 points - 60 percent of the pension;
- 70-74 points - 40 percent of the pension.
Those interested in receiving the benefit should note that eligibility for the support benefit is contingent upon the person with a disability obtaining a decision determining the level of support needed. An application for such a decision must be submitted to the provincial disability assessment team.
The Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) is responsible for accepting applications for support benefits, processing them, and granting and paying these benefits.
An application for a support benefit should be submitted to ZUS only in electronic form, via one of three channels:
