New Director of the Greater Poland National Health Fund. Previous Head Leaving for Hospital

• On October 3, there were changes in the position of director of the Wielkopolska Provincial Branch of the National Health Fund
• The current head of the department, Magdalena Kraszewska, is moving to the Karol Jonscher Clinical Hospital in Poznań.
• Paweł Kurzak, former deputy director for uniformed services at the Lower Silesian Provincial Branch of the National Health Fund, was appointed acting director of the Regional Branch of the National Health Fund.

- During a meeting with employees of the Wielkopolska Provincial Branch of the National Health Fund, the President of the National Health Fund, Filip Nowak, announced that Paweł Kurzak has become the acting director of the WOW NFZ from October 3, 2025 - explains Marta Żbikowska-Cieśla, spokesperson for the WOW NFZ.

"The current director of the department, Magdalena Kraszewska, has resigned and been dismissed from her position. On November 3rd, she will begin work as director of the Karol Jonscher Clinical Hospital of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences," he added.

The new director, Paweł Kurzak, has been associated with the healthcare system since the beginning of his professional career.

• Until October 2, 2025, he was the deputy director for uniformed services of the Lower Silesian Provincial Branch of the National Health Fund.
• Previously, he was the director of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship Branch of the National Health Fund in Szczecin;
• he also served as deputy director for uniformed services in the Wielkopolska Provincial Branch of the National Health Fund in

  Poznań.

Let us add that the previous director of the Karol Jonscher Clinical Hospital in Poznań was Agnieszka Pachciarz, former head of the Greater Poland branch of the National Health Fund.
