14th pension to be paid. Everything is clear: the regulation came into force on August 1st

On August 1, regulations regarding the payment of the 14th pension came into effect. The date and amount are certain.

The additional annual cash benefit for retirees and pensioners has been permanently incorporated into the benefit recipients' payment schedule since 2023. The payment month is determined each time by the Council of Ministers in a regulation issued no later than October 31 of the given year.

- This week, the regulation on determining the month of payment of the fourteenth pension in 2025 was published in the Journal of Laws, and on Friday, August 1, it entered into force.

According to the regulations prepared by the Ministry of Labor, the 14th pensions, as in previous years, will be paid in September .

This year, the full amount of the fourteenth pension will be PLN 1,878.91 gross , which is the current minimum pension.

According to the Act, the full amount is available to individuals whose basic benefit, such as a pension or disability pension, does not exceed PLN 2,900 gross. After this amount is exceeded, the benefit will be reduced on a zloty-for-zloty basis.

The 14th pension will be free from deductions, such as bailiff seizures. It will not be counted as income when applying for social assistance, alimony, or the 500+ program for dependents. Only health insurance contributions and income tax advances will be deducted from the benefit.
