There will be changes to pensions. A huge surprise.

- The government is working on the so-called pension review, which is carried out every few years.
- Its aim is to analyse the functioning of the pension system and indicate possible directions for its changes.
- The review is to conclude with proposals for specific changes to the existing regulations.
The pension review is conducted every few years. According to "Fakt," its findings will be used by the government to decide on any changes to the pension system.
The Ministry of Family confirmed that work is ongoing - we read.
Officials from the Ministry of Family and the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) are expected to be involved in the review. "Before adoption by the Council of Ministers, the draft document will be subject to inter-ministerial consultations," the newspaper reports.
There will be changes to pensions. No one expected this. The Ministry of Family Affairs promises that there will be no changes to the retirement age . And what are the experts hoping for?
We should hope that during the current pension review, the government will not lack the courage to present and then address the real problems of our pension system, Dr. Marcin Wojewódka from the Pension Institute told "Fakt".
- In his opinion, such areas include the impact of the current general retirement age on the amount of future benefits.
- - We simply need to tell the truth, especially to Polish women, that maintaining the current, practically the lowest general retirement age in Europe will inevitably mean low pensions for the overwhelming majority of Polish women - she adds.
- At the same time, he expresses concern that in practice the pension review "will again concern actions in the opposite direction, or those that result in lower benefits, such as seniority or bridge pensions ."
