An Author's Evening with Jerzy Koch. A New Translation of Thomas Mann's Work

The Municipal Public Library invites you to the third meeting in the series [Lost in Translation]. The guest will be Jerzy Koch, translator of Dutch, German, and Afrikaans literature.

The starting point for the discussion will be the book "Buddenbrooks: The Fall of a Family" by Thomas Mann. The meeting will be moderated by Gabriel Augustyn. Jerzy Koch is a translator, poet, Dutch and Germanist by training, and a professor at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań and Stellenbosch University in South Africa. The meeting will take place on October 24th at 6:00 PM in Branch No. 7 (8 Matka Teresa z Kolkuty Square).
