Ziobro's man fatally hit a woman on a crosswalk. The investigation was eventually closed

That is why it would seem that the prosecutor's office would quickly file an indictment with the court. Ultimately, however, the investigation lasted five years. At first, the case was handled by the District Prosecutor's Office in Kozienice. Then, it was taken over by the District Prosecutor's Office in Radom, and after a year, it was transferred to Lublin. It was headed by Jerzy Ziarkiewicz, a trusted man of Zbigniew Ziobro. It was to his prosecutor's office that, during the rule of the United Right, the files of investigations involving politicians associated with the ruling camp were sent. "Gazeta Wyborcza" discovered that the prosecutor was supposed to keep the documentation of many cases in his garage, including the famous mileage records of MEP Ryszard Czarnecki.

Last year, Attorney General Adam Bodnar dismissed Ziarkiewicz. At the same time, the National Prosecutor's Office also filed a motion to lift his immunity. A few days ago, however, it was reported that investigators plan to charge him with the "garage files".

Artur Dziadosz. Career in retirement. "He killed a man and got a reward"

And what happened to Artur Dziadosz after the accident? In 2021 - after 30 years of work - he retired, and a few months later Zbigniew Ziobro appointed him as the head of the state-owned company - Mazovia. Two years later it was merged with the company PEPEBE Włocławek and Polska Grupa SW was created. Artur Dziadosz became its director.

The company was responsible for, among other things, the "Work for Prisoners" program. Moreover, Civic Coalition MP Cezary Tomczyk filed a complaint in this case to the prosecutor's office. - This gentleman has not been charged, there is no investigation, and as a "reward" he became the head of a large state-owned company. And what? - commented Tomczyk in "Onet Rano" .

Accident in Kozienice. Final court decision

Time passed – and only four years after the accident – ​​did the prosecutor's office receive the third expert opinion, and seven in total. At one point, the deceased's daughter herself admitted in an interview with the media that she had lost faith that the case of her mother's death would be solved. She also said many times that she was afraid that the prosecutor's office was trying to discontinue the proceedings.

Finally, last year, it was announced that the investigation had been discontinued. The investigators relied on expert opinions, who stated that the collision was not the fault of the driver, but of the injured party. The argument was that Dziadosz was driving third in the column of vehicles. When other cars were passing through the crossing, the woman was standing on the sidewalk in front of the crossing. Then she suddenly decided to enter the crossing. According to the expert, by entering the roadway in front of the car, she created a hazard in road traffic.

The victim's daughter did not agree with this decision and filed a complaint. It was considered by the District Court in Kozienice within a few days. - The court did not take into account the injured party's complaint and upheld the contested decision - informed Renata Król, vice-president of the District Court in Radom.
