Unofficially. A serial killer murdered three senior citizens in Warsaw
First, on February 16-17, a brutal murder took place on Franciszkańska Street in the city center. An 80-year-old woman was strangled with a pillow. Her body was found by her cousin. It also turned out that valuables, including paintings and jewelry, were missing from the apartment.
The murdered woman's neighbors told "Fakt" that they knew her well. "She was a very friendly person and she was doing great on her own. We usually saw her when she came back from shopping," they told us. They also don't hide the fact that despite the tragedy happening a week ago, they still feel uneasy. And they don't open their doors to strangers.
Last weekend, on Sunday – February 23, at around 11 a.m. – the body of an elderly 89-year-old woman was discovered at ul. Księcia Trojdena 5 in Ochota. Valuable paintings and jewelry were also reportedly missing from the apartment. It is known that the elderly lady lived alone. And her body was found by her daughter-in-law.
Murder in Kabaty. "He sat in the car for an hour"The next night – from Monday to Tuesday – the body of the third victim was found: a 73-year-old senior citizen. This time at Wąwozowa Street at the intersection with KEN Avenue. And just like in other cases, the woman was strangled. Since morning, technicians have been working at the scene and securing evidence on the balcony located on the ground floor.
As we have unofficially learned, a man has been detained in this case. As the "Fakt" reporter established, he arrived at the scene yesterday at 7:16 p.m. He first sat in his car (with a Polish license plate) for an hour, then got out, took a bag with him and headed towards the apartment where the body was found. Most likely, his victim defended himself - perhaps screaming - because the police were called to help, who broke down the door to the apartment.
The attacker is currently being questioned by investigators. Our unofficial information is that the man is also responsible for the previous murders.
