Tragic accident on Wisłostrada. Decision on temporary arrest made

The court has granted the prosecutor's request for temporary arrest of two suspects in connection with the accident on Wisłostrada, in which a father and his 13-year-old son died, the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw announced.
The District Court for Warsaw-Żoliborz issued a decision to remand the suspects in custody . They are Sebastian F. , whom investigators suspect of causing a fatal accident on Wisłostrada, and Mariusz P., who "failed to provide assistance to the injured parties," according to a statement from the prosecutor's office.
Earlier, Piotr Antoni Skiba, spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, announced that charges had been brought against both men. He noted that they had pleaded guilty.
"F. was charged today with causing a fatal accident by fleeing the scene of the accident and violating a driving ban imposed by the court in Radom last year," the prosecutor announced. "The second man, aged 37, was charged with failing to provide first aid ," he added. In a new statement, the prosecutor's office identifies the second man as Mariusz P.

On Friday morning, police reported that the 45-year-old motorcycle driver died after being taken to hospital. They later reported that his 13-year-old son also died.
