Paid parking lots, sewage project, new bike paths

On Tuesday, June 24, a plenary session of the Żmigród City Council took place at the Cultural Center Complex. The councilors discussed, among other things, blocked manholes in the context of the effects of the last storm. Mayor Robert Lewandowski announced the construction of new parking lots.
At the beginning of the session, the mayor presented a report on the implementation of the budget for 2024 and the projects undertaken. He presented data on last year's budget. The revenues in it were planned at PLN 112 million, while the expenditures at PLN 109.6 million. However, over time, as a result of various changes, including obtaining external funds, the financial plan increased significantly. At the end of the year, the revenues reached almost PLN 122.5 million, and the expenditures over PLN 126 million, which meant a deficit of over PLN 3.3 million. Last year's budget included 31 investments. The total value of those completed in 2024 amounted to over PLN 16.4 million, of which over PLN 13 million came from subsidies. Many projects are being continued. The mayor mentioned that investment expenditures of almost PLN 50 million were planned for this year.
