A serious accident occurred on Thursday, June 19, in the area of ​​Krzywa Turnia in the Sokole Mountains . One of the climbers fell from a height of about four meters, sustaining serious injuries, including a foreign body penetrating his limb.

Rescue teams from the Karkonosze GOPR Group from Trzcińsko and Jelenia Góra were immediately dispatched to the scene, where paramedics were on duty. After providing first aid and securing the injuries, the injured man was transported to Przełęcz Karpnicka. There he was handed over to the crew of the Air Ambulance Service, which transported him to the hospital.

"We would like to thank the climbers present at the scene for their quick response and support in the actions - your help was extremely valuable," GOPR rescuers wrote on social media, also thanking all the services involved for their efficient and coordinated actions.
