According to the Bieszczady Volunteer Water Rescue Service (WOPR), the footballer allegedly jumped into the water to cool off . However, he slipped and fell from a cliff on Rocky Island. "The R-1 team of the Bieszczady Volunteer Water Rescue Service, firefighters, and police officers were dispatched to the search," the statement reads.

The search for the footballer lasted many hours . The operation began around 7 p.m. on Saturday. Despite this, efforts to locate the 30-year-old proved unsuccessful. Around 10 p.m., the authorities decided to call off the operation.
