Change of leader, president records decline. Ranking of trust in politicians

The Mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski, is the leader of the February ranking of trust in Polish politicians - according to the latest CBOS survey. In second place is the Speaker of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, and in third ex aequo, the head of the Ministry of National Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Radosław Sikorski and President Andrzej Duda, who has noted a large drop compared to previous surveys.
According to the latest CBOS poll, the KO candidate for president, Rafał Trzaskowski , enjoyed the greatest trust among Poles in February, with 46 percent of those surveyed trusting him.
The leader of Poland 2050, Szymon Hołownia , is also hot on the heels of the capital's mayor, with 45 percent of respondents declaring their trust in him. The podium is closed by the president of the Polish People's Party, the head of the Ministry of National Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz , the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski , and President Andrzej Duda ( 41 percent ).

In January, Andrzej Duda enjoyed the trust of 46% of respondents and was the undisputed leader. Now, there has been a major change in first place, as the winner's position was taken by Rafał Trzaskowski, who moved up from third place, recording a result better by 4 percentage points compared to the previous survey.
In turn, Szymon Hołownia and Kosiniak-Kamysz enjoyed a 1 percentage point increase in trust in February, and Radosław Sikorski recorded a 2 percentage point increase.
Which politicians do Poles not trust? CBOS pollThe next places in the trust ranking were occupied by: Prime Minister Donald Tusk , who is trusted by 39% of respondents (an increase of 1 percentage point), Minister of Justice Adam Bodnar and Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Krzysztof Bosak (36%).
When asked about their greatest distrust , respondents expressed it towards PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński (58%, a result 1 percentage point higher than in January), Donald Tusk (48%, a drop of 2 percentage points) and President Andrzej Duda (44%, an increase of 2 percentage points).

Looking at the results of individual presidential candidates , Rafał Trzaskowski is distrusted by 36 percent of respondents, Karol Nawrocki by 38 percent, Szymon Hołownia by 36 percent, Sławomir Mentzen by 33 percent, Magdalena Biejat by 19 percent, and Adrian Zandberg by 30 percent.
The survey was conducted as part of a mixed-mode procedure on a representative named sample of adult residents of Poland, drawn from the PESEL register. The survey was conducted from 6 to 16 February 2025 on a sample of 965 people (including: 61.0% using the CAPI method, 20.5% - CATI and 18.4% - CAWI).
