Another cash injection for the hospital

The recent meeting of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Board brought good news for the Podkarpackie health service, including the hospital in Przemyśl.
We recently reported on further financial support for the St. Padre Pio Provincial Hospital in Przemyśl, which is managed by the Marshal's Office in Rzeszów. The hospital received PLN 650,000 for the purchase of a modern laparoscopic unit, which will improve the quality of surgical oncology services. The hospital's own contribution to this project amounts to PLN 180,000. However, it turns out that this is not the end of the positive financial news. During the recent meeting of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship Board, approval was given for the purchase of further modern medical equipment for the facility at Monte Cassino. Thanks to the green light given by board members, the hospital will receive, among other things, ECG machines, respiratory support devices, and specialized protective equipment to support the daily work of medical teams.
A cash injection will also be made to the Voivodeship Emergency Medical Service Station in Rzeszów. This money will be used for new ambulances and advanced life-saving equipment, including defibrillators and chest compression devices. According to the Marshal's Office in Rzeszów, the total value of the planned purchases for both units will exceed PLN 1 million.
